Mae'r cynnig yn ceisio datblygu 18 o anheddau preswyl newydd y gellir eu cyrchu trwy fynedfa newydd a grëwyd oddi ar Ffordd Bethel.

Yn hanesyddol, defnyddiwyd y safle i gynnal rhandiroedd ond nid oedd wedi'i warchod gan statud at y pwrpas hwnnw, nid yw'r safle'n agored i'r cyhoedd.

Bydd y datblygiad yn darparu cartrefi fforddiadwy mawr eu hangen i'r ardal leol trwy ddeiliadaethau fforddiadwy cymysg o rent cymdeithasol a chanolradd. Bydd y cynnig yn sicrhau bod digon o stoc tai fforddiadwy i unigolion a theuluoedd ifanc aros o fewn Caernarfon, heb orfod edrych y tu allan i'r dref am opsiynau tai.

Mae'r cynnig yn cynnwys cyfanswm o 44 o leoedd parcio ceir, gyda lleoedd wedi'u cynnwys ar y safle i liniaru colli'r lleoedd parcio presennol sydd wedi'u lleoli ar Ffordd Bethel. Mae'r safle hefyd yn cynnwys 810 metr sgwâr o fannau agored cyhoeddus hygyrch, mae hwn yn fan agored ychwanegol i'r gymuned.


The proposal seeks to develop 18 new residential dwellings accessed via a new entrance created off of Ffordd Bethel.

The existing greenfield infill site was formerly allotments, it is currently grassland that is not accessible to the public.

The development will provide much needed affordable homes to the local area through mixed affordable tenures of social and intermediate rent. The proposal will ensure there is sufficient affordable housing stock for individuals and families to remain within Caernarfon, without having to look outside of the town for housing options.

The proposal includes a total of 44 car parking spaces, with spaces included within the site to mitigate the loss of the existing on road parking spaces that are located on Ffordd Bethel. The site also includes 810 square metres of accessible public open space, this is additional open space for the community.
